Social Worker (LICSW) - Adult Medicine Vancouver

We're looking for a full-time licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) to join our Adult Medicine Department in Vancouver, WA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing evidence-based psychosocial treatment and brief behavioral interventions in collaboration with a primary care team. The site where this position is located is staffed by two physicians, one who is palliative medicine trained.

Basic requirements:

  • Current unrestricted license as a LICSW in WA or ability to obtain LICSW licensure
  • Minimum of one year post MSW licensure experience in treating common mental health disorders and substance abuse disorders
  • Ability to engage patients in a therapeutic relationship
  • Experience in providing assessments, coordination, care planning and referral to community resources

Additional details:

  • Knowledge of chronic and acute disease and how it impacts functioning preferred
  • EMDR experience highly preferred
  • See an average of 25-30 patients a week
  • Flexibility with both in office and remote work
  • Interest in geriatrics and treating anxiety & depression.
  • CME allowance
